For the th year in a row sales of LPs are increasing in the US and all of a sudden you see record players emerging from oblivion here and there and everywhere including several of the famous old hifi brands such as Technics. Of course clever inventors have also taken advantage of modern digital electronics to make traditional turntables more exciting. Love is the latest gadget of its kind. A small portable record player with a real pickup needle that can play music via wireless Bluetooth speakers and which is operated from the owners smartphone.
Love basically consists of two parts The lower one is a or inch record plate on which you place your vinyl record. The plate has a center pin on which part is fastened. I cant say anything about the sound quality but in principle Love functions as player and they were considered the best by many hifi enthusiasts in their time. The app for smartphones and tablets can be used to determine record size volume control speed selection startstop skip select track etc. The app can also display an image of the record on the screen. Bluetooth is used both between Love and smartphone and between record player and wireless speakers. Multiroom setups with sound in several rooms are also possible.
